Inclement Weather Policies

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICIES 

When Dobbs Ferry UFSD schools are closed due to bad weather or hazardous driving conditions, no busing will be provided. If Dobbs Ferry schools have a weather-related delayed start or early dismissal, busing will be provided accordingly.

For students attending out-of-district schools:

• If your home district schools are closed due to weather conditions, no out-of-district busing will be provided.
  
  
• If your home district declares a delayed opening, your child will also have the same delayed morning pick up, even if your out-of-district school does not have a delayed opening. (Usually school delays are two hours.)
  
  
• If your out-of-district school has a delayed opening but your home district is open at its usual time, busing will be provided on a 2-hour delayed basis. Delayed openings will be accommodated as best as possible.
  
  
• If your home district schools close early, all out-of-district PM bus runs will be conducted early.
  
  
• Early dismissal declared by your out-of-district school will be accommodated as best as possible.
